Our Workshop Manager Ryan Ainley uses a blowtorch to sweat one gear pinion into another.

Allowing the heat to expand the bore is a highly skilled process requiring experience and perfect timing. A moment too long under the flame, and the gears could fuse. The finished product is destined for a machine on a food industry line.
