This is one of a batch of 120 pipe scrapers made by our engineers for a Yorkshire firm that designs and manufactures electrofusion welding machines and accessories.
We make them on a combination of our XYZ and HAAS machines, specifically: an XYZ CT65LTY live tooling lathe with Y axis, an XYZ 1020VMC three-axis milling machine and a HAAS VF3 three-axis milling machine.
The mixture of subcontract processes involved in their manufacture includes zinc plating and anodising and they are machined and assembled in our Huddersfield workshop.
